Food Fossickers presents ‘Welcome to our Kitchens 2019’, Bendigo’s first movable edible feast, it celebrates some of Central Victoria’s best local produce and brings our food community together. This is a sold out event last year so make sure you book your tickets quickly!
Guided by our passionate local Food Fossickers, you will discover Central Victoria’s artisanal food gold in Bendigo as you make your way around five venues. Sample some of the best produce you can get in Central Victoria at venues who are proud supporters of local produce. Hear from the chef and producers as they unveil the flavours and stories of our food region. The tour starts at 11am from your nominated venue. You will be guided to each venue on foot with the day finishing at 4pm.

Meet the creators, curators, producers and craftsmen first hand as they showcase their skills and talents through food and unearth each venue’s unique stamp on our culinary. It’s the ultimate day out for all foodies. Each ticket holder will receive a seasonal savoury dish and a sweet bite at each of the 5 venues and a limited-edition Food Fossicker’s plate, handmade by Bendigo Pottery, will be a parting gift.
For an additional $50, allow each venue to match a locally produced beverage to their savoury dish. It’s the ultimate pairing! The tour starts from your allocated venue (please select at time of booking) at 11:00am sharp, so please arrive at 10:45am.
All other drinks are available at bar prices.

We will en-devour to communicate all dietaries to each venue prior to the day, although we cannot guarantee that all foods will be allergen free. Please ensure you speak to the venue owner or Food Fossickers host on the day if you have any concerns.
