Bendigo Community Farmers’ Market
- Filling the City with Produce
Famous for its gorgeous range of fresh, regional, seasonal produce, Bendigo Community Farmers’ Market has quickly become a popular day out for food lovers across the region. As one of only a handful of accredited farmers’ markets in Victoria, its range of genuine producers will leave you hungry for more. Stock up on your old favourites and find new treasures - who could resist the fresh fruit and veg, honey, bread, cakes, coffee, cheese, wines and other delectable delights.
More...But it’s not just a market, it’s a great opportunity to catch up with friends, soak up the sun and get to know the growers and producers. Watch three expert chefs in action, pick up some tips at a sustainability class, and get the family involved in kids cooking classes.
At the end of a fabulous market day, take home your basket of goodies, put your feet up, and enjoy a wonderful weekend feast. Add the Farmers’ Market to your diary - it’s on the second Saturday of every month from 9-1, at Sidney Myer Place (Williamson Street) and Rosalind Park. Check the Bendigo Weekly for market menus.
